What sound can't you stand? The sound of someone being sick... Yesterday, me and the boyfriend sat down to watch tv. There was a commercial on, but when he brung up the cox cable guide, there was a show on called "Hurl!".... Yes, it was a show based soley upon the attempt at bringing people to the point and beyond of sickness by feeding them certain kinds of food, and then putting them on very mobile carnival rides. That was the first time I ever gave him a direct order to do anything. Thankfully he did without being a smartass otherwise I would have walked right out.
So as many know I'm sure, I've been taking Photography this semester. Yay... -_-; It's a lot of fun, but the more I learn about what you can do with photography, the more frustrated I get because the more I want to do, and the less I find I can do because I just don't have the equipment! Ugh! I have an old Olympus digicam. The zoom is decent, but I can only go so far on the settings, so really cool photos that I'd like to take in the day time, I can't, because they'd get too washed out. And really spiffy photos I'd like to take at night, I can't because my shutter only goes as long as one full second! Argh! But here's some stuff that I've done so far. =)
My light series
These are my first sttempt at stop action shots. I got some really good ones though. I went to a party over the weekend and was lucky enough that the guys got the fire pit going. I am SO glad I got out my camera. I went to town! I'm just glad I didn't run out of space on my card. =)
Naturally, these are not all of them. Just a few tid bits. I plan on making a post showcasing a few of the better ones.
This one is one that I was lucky enough to get back before my classes started. I know the highlights are over blown and I know its a cliche shot, but I still like it. And the fact the these are my niece and nephew
(god daughter/godson, however you wanna put it)
makes it just that much better. I need to put it through photoshop and see if I can make it a bit more rich colorwise.
Well, that's what I've got so far. Any tips would be MUCH appreciated. =)
When a couple breaks up, have you ever been able to stay friends with both parties?

Oddly enough... yes. Granted, it took forever to really get there. But, yes, I am still friends with two people who used to date but then broke up on not very good terms. It's been years since, and on occasion they still ask me about the other, but they've both moved on. It's pretty cool. =) Especially since I don't have to hear the rants anymore.... well, not always.
Show us the last picture you took.
I'm still haaving issues playing with the shutter speed and F-stop. Photography is frustrating! I need help! Geez, I'm sure if I got the right formula, I could do this. I think that this calls for some drastic action. I just might have to *sigh/shudder* read the book! *Gasp*!
And my car is bloody friggin bumpy!
So, I've been listening to a much wider range of musics lately. One of my current favorites has to be Chris Brown's song "Forever". I just love the way it sounds and how it fills me with the urge to just Move.... Howevver, it does not fill me with the urge to chew. I heard briefly a while ago about the whole new Wrigley's ad campaign where they stick in some subliminal advertising into hit songs. Its done with Chris Brown, Neyo, and Julianne Hough. I had no idea that my favorite song was a part of this little scheme cooked up by the Gum titans and media moguls. I only saw the Doublemint commercial yesterday and I thought to myself, "wow... Is that?"
